I love all the old fashioned sweet romances by Betty Neels. I read them all many years ago and am now reading them for the 2nd and even 3rd times on my Kindle. She wrote them all on a formula. Usually a romance between a Dutch doctor or professor and an English young lady. There is always some type of conflict that has to be settled before the happily ever after. No violence and no sexual content.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
A very sweet, very quiet, very short, very relaxing kind of story. However, a bit too much of all those things........
Good enough to read again, but not entirely memerable. Eleven words wre required, but i dont have strong emotions aboutthis book.
I am 65 years old and remember reading her books in my 20's. I have started buying them on line so I have them all the time.
I love Betty Neel novels. Clean stories. The books are well written with smooth plots. Any reader will enjoy this novel.
Betty always gets a five. A novella. The doctor falls for the girl, who is NOT a nurse, but that's OK because her name is Loveday, which totally makes up for it. A few misunderstandings get in the way, but the faithful doctor gets them worked out and, being a Betty Neels book, love wins out in the end, prompting Great Aunt to decide to give great-great grandmothers silver tea pot as a wedding present.
Easy read with a great romantic story. Good book to read before bed.
